Graduate students can join our lab after being accepted for either a Master of Science in Biological Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences. Either degree plan would be for a microbiology concentration (MB). Prospective Graduate students should apply to one of these programs and list Dr. Robleto as one of the faculty you are most interested in working with.
Undergraduate Students interested in joining our lab can email Dr. Robleto with an introduction about themselves, a paragraph or so on why they are interested in our research, and what they want to do after obtaining their Bachelors degree at UNLV or surrounding NSHE institutions. We often take students that have taken a CURE (Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience) such as BIOL 207 or BIOL 401RX. We also prefer that students have taken Microbiology lecture and lab (BIOL 351 or 251).
